Parks Preserve is excited to announce that our collaboration with The Parks Apparel has generated a $650 donation to the Bridalveil Fall Restoration Project at Yosemite National Park!
We couldn't be happier to support one of Yosemite's most iconic falls, visible from the picturesque view at the entrance to Yosemite Valley. The Restoration, which is sponsored by the Yosemite Conservancy, plans to:
+Redesign the loop trail to create less traffic for visitors and reduce overall crowding
+Redesigning the parking structures to create more room for visitors
+Redesigning the restrooms to provide improved facilities to visitors
+Creating better signage for visitors to navigate their way through the area.
+Create storytelling signage on trails to enrich the Bridalveil Fall experience.
Even better news is that the Federal Government plans to match the funds we've donated, meaning that the $650 donation will create $1300 worth of work completed!
Yosemite National Park is the 3rd most visited park in the United States, where an estimated 5 million people will visit every single year. Though the Yosemite Conservancy is one of the most successful fundraising organizations for any National Park, the sheer amount of visitors in the park requires far more funds than many other park systems. Thank you again to everyone who supported this collaborative effort to raise funds for Yosemite National Park! Tag your photos of the bracelet with #parkspreserve to be featured in our stories.
